Self-mutilation, Tattooing, and Piercings

Some people cut themselves, some people feel the need to pierce and tattoo their entire bodies. This is not the first generation to do these types of things. Self-mutilation, tattooing, and piercing happened a long time ago. Now they're called, "Body Mods." The only reason I decided to put this link in here is to show what people do to themselves, 60 Insane Body Modifications (Caution Viewing for Young Children) It is truly unbelievable what people will do to themselves.

Right now somewhere out there in our world is someone who is full of anger, confusion, hatred, and just not knowing what to do. They may do things that are harmful to themselves to get attention or may be to get relief from the turmoil inside. Then they become embarrassed and remorseful, but not all of them are sorry for their actions. Still no one should ever be made to feel unwanted. Jesus loved "everyone" when He died for us.

Exodus 21:6 (NKJV)

6. then his master shall bring him to the judges. He shall also bring him to the door, or to the doorpost, and his master shall pierce his ear with an awl; and he shall serve him forever.

Leviticus 19:28 (NKJV)
28. You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the LORD.

Deuteronomy 15:17 (NKJV)

17. then you shall take an awl and thrust it through his ear to the door, and he shall be your servant forever. Also to your female servant you shall do likewise.

I Kings 18:28 (NKJV)

28. So they cried aloud, and cut themselves, as was their custom, with knives and lances, until the blood gushed out on them.
